A licensed Tourism Interpreter Guide provides destination explanations, foreign-language assistance, meeting-point support, local recommendations and itinerary coordination during the confirmed working hours. #
No. The driver is strictly responsible for safe vehicle operation and transportation. Professional sightseeing interpretation, accompanying you inside attractions, and historical explanations require a separately booked guide. #
No. The driver is assigned for transportation, route management, parking and passenger safety. The driver does not provide professional foreign-language sightseeing commentary or accompany the group as a licensed guide inside attractions. A separate Tourism Interpreter Guide should be booked when guided interpretation is required. #
Yes. Vehicle and guide services can be coordinated under one itinerary. However, guide working hours, vehicle operating hours, overtime and service fees are calculated separately. #
The confirmed meeting point and guide contact details are provided before the service date. Airport meeting instructions depend on the terminal and assigned service arrangement. A name board may be requested but is not guaranteed unless confirmed in writing. At a hotel, the guide normally meets the group in the main lobby. #
No. YourBus private guide service does not include compulsory duty-free shops, ginseng stores, souvenir shops or commission-based shopping stops. Shopping is included only when requested by the customer or stated in the confirmed itinerary. #

No. Rates may vary depending on the rarity of the language, peak season demands, and specialized experience required. #
General tourist guiding is focused on cultural explanation and travel assistance. For formal business meetings, medical consultations, legal trials, or technical conferences, a professional simultaneous interpreter should be booked instead. #
For foreign-language sightseeing and cultural interpretation, YourBus arranges licensed Tourism Interpreter Guides according to the requested language, destination and availability. Business interpretation, escort support and event coordination are separate service categories. #
A licensed Tourism Interpreter Guide is recommended for foreign-language sightseeing, educational tours and itineraries where detailed historical and cultural interpretation is required. Formal business or specialist interpretation should be requested separately. #

You may request a preferred guide from our team, but the assignment is only guaranteed after we verify their availability and confirm it in writing. #

Not always. Unless a specific individual has been explicitly booked and confirmed in writing, profile photos on our media channels are representative of our active guide team. #
YourBus licensed guide rates are normally based on up to 8 hours per day. The confirmed start time, finish time, breaks and overtime conditions are stated in the written quotation. #
Overtime begins after the confirmed guide service hours. The standard licensed sightseeing guide rate is normally KRW 30,000 per hour unless different conditions are stated in the quotation. Specialized interpretation overtime is confirmed separately. #
Yes, night-time guiding is possible with advance notice. However, late-night transport costs for the guide to return home safely may be billed to the customer. #
Yes. However, the time spent waiting for immigration, customs, and baggage claim is counted as part of the guide's active daily working hours. #
Yes, we provide nationwide guiding services including Gyeonggi-do, Gangwon-do, Gyeongju, Busan, and Jeju Island. Regional and multi-day tours are fully customizable. #
If the guide travels in your chartered vehicle, there is no extra transport cost. If the guide needs to meet you at a regional location independently, KTX/Express Bus tickets or fuel costs will be included in the quote. #
The customer may reserve a clean private room with a private bathroom for the guide, or ask YourBus to include the estimated accommodation amount in the quotation. The amount depends on the destination, date and local availability. Shared rooms and dormitories are not accepted unless agreed in writing. #
Meals are not automatically included. The customer may provide suitable meals or pay the meal allowance stated in the quotation. The standard YourBus planning allowance is normally KRW 20,000 per guide per day. No separate meal allowance is charged when suitable meals are provided. #
Your guide reservation is officially locked in once we review the itinerary, confirm guide availability, receive your written agreement, and process the required booking deposit. #
No. The form is only a quotation and availability request. A reservation is confirmed after guide availability, written service conditions and the required deposit are confirmed. #
Yes, when operationally available. For confirmed services, YourBus may create a WhatsApp or other messenger group including the customer, assigned guide, driver and coordinator. The final communication method depends on the participants and service arrangement. #
Our management team works remotely or directly in the field. In-person office consultations are not available unless the client has a long-term corporate contract of at least one year. #
Cancellation charges depend on the cancellation date, confirmed guide assignment, advance expenses and the written contract. The quotation or contract takes priority over this general FAQ. Deposits or costs already committed to the assigned guide may be non-refundable. #
No. Private guide fees are quoted per guide, per day, regardless of your group size. #
No. Guide fees and vehicle charter rates are calculated as separate line items on your invoice. #
Yes. Available methods may include credit card, PayPal and bank transfer. VAT, payment-processing fees, exchange costs and international bank charges depend on the selected method and are stated in the quotation or payment instructions. #
Yes, if agreed upon in your booking contract, you can pay the remaining balance directly in KRW cash on-site. #
Tipping is not a standard custom in South Korea and is not mandatory. However, if you are highly satisfied with your guide and driver's hospitality, a voluntary tip is always appreciated as a warm gesture. #
