Common luggage questions
Is a vehicle with the same number of seats as our group always enough?
No. Seat capacity and luggage capacity are different. The correct vehicle depends on passengers, checked suitcases, carry-on bags and special equipment. For airport transfers, luggage often becomes the deciding factor.
Can 25 passengers with luggage fit in a 25-seater bus?
Not always. A 25-seater describes seating capacity, not guaranteed airport-luggage capacity. If most passengers have large suitcases, the practical passenger capacity can be lower.
We are 19 passengers with about 40 large suitcases. What vehicle should we book?
For unusually heavy luggage, a large coach with a substantial under-floor luggage compartment may be required even though the group is only 19 people. Please provide both checked and carry-on luggage counts.
Which is more important when choosing a bus: passengers or luggage?
Both matter, but for airport transfers the luggage volume may determine the final vehicle size. Two groups with the same number of passengers may need different vehicles.
Can luggage stay on the bus while we sightsee before going to the airport?
Usually this can be arranged when the selected vehicle has enough secured luggage space and the itinerary is agreed in advance. Tell us that all luggage will remain on board when requesting a quotation.
Can you carry bicycles or bicycle boxes?
Yes, depending on quantity, dimensions and vehicle configuration. Please tell us whether bicycles are fully assembled or boxed, and how much other luggage you have.
Can you carry golf bags, ski equipment, instruments or other oversized items?
Please tell us before booking. Oversized or fragile items affect vehicle selection and loading arrangements.
Should we choose a 35-seat or 45-seat coach for around 20 passengers?
It depends mainly on luggage and comfort requirements. Around 20 passengers with many large suitcases may be better served by a 45-seat coach with a larger luggage compartment.
