YourBus Korea FAQ

Korea Charter Bus Questions, Answered from Real Customer Cases

Vehicle size, luggage, Incheon Airport pickup, pricing, booking, drivers, guides and multi-day travel — the questions below are based on recurring inquiries from international travelers, schools, companies and travel agencies.

Important: Seat capacity and luggage capacity are not the same. For the most accurate quote, always send passenger count and luggage count together.
For a faster quotation, send: travel date, pickup time, passenger count, large suitcase count, carry-on count, pickup location, destination or itinerary, preferred vehicle and flight number when applicable.

Vehicle & Luggage

Is a vehicle with the same number of seats as our group always enough?

No. Seat capacity and luggage capacity are different. The right vehicle depends on the number of passengers, large suitcases, carry-on bags and any special equipment. For airport transfers, a larger vehicle may be recommended even when the passenger count is small.

Can 25 passengers with luggage fit in a 25-seater bus?

Not always. A 25-seater refers to seating capacity, not guaranteed airport-luggage capacity. If most passengers carry large suitcases, the practical passenger capacity can be lower. Please tell us the exact luggage count before booking.

We are 19 passengers with about 40 large suitcases. What vehicle should we book?

For a group with unusually heavy luggage, luggage volume can be more important than passenger count. A large coach with an under-floor luggage compartment may be required. Please provide the number and approximate size of all checked and carry-on bags.

Which is more important when choosing a bus: passengers or luggage?

Both matter, but for airport transfers luggage can become the deciding factor. Two groups with the same number of passengers may need different vehicles depending on how many suitcases they carry.

Airport Pickup

My flight lands at 5:50 AM. Should I book the bus for 5:50 AM?

No. Flight arrival time and vehicle pickup time are different. Allow time for immigration, baggage claim and customs. Please provide both the scheduled landing time and your expected pickup time.

What information should I provide for an airport pickup?

Please send the travel date, flight number, arrival airport and terminal, scheduled arrival time, passenger count, checked luggage count, carry-on count and destination. This is the fastest way to receive an accurate vehicle recommendation.

When will I receive the driver's phone number and vehicle plate number?

Driver and vehicle details are normally provided after the final dispatch is fixed, close to the service date. Available details may include the driver's name, mobile number, vehicle type, plate number and meeting point.

Price & Inclusions

What is normally included in the vehicle price?

The quotation should clearly state the inclusions. YourBus generally treats the vehicle, professional driver, fuel and highway tolls as core vehicle-cost items. Parking, overtime, driver meals/accommodation, guides and attraction costs may be handled separately depending on the itinerary.

Are highway tolls included?

Yes, YourBus normally includes highway tolls in the base vehicle price unless the quotation states otherwise.

Are parking fees included?

Parking is usually charged separately when actual parking is required because the cost varies greatly by location and operating method. If the driver drops the group off and returns later, parking may not be required.

Why is parking separate but tolls are included?

Highway tolls can usually be estimated from the route, while parking depends on whether the vehicle actually remains in a paid parking area. Charging actual parking costs avoids making every customer pay for parking that may not occur.

How many hours are included in a full-day charter?

For Seoul-area operations, a standard full-day quotation is commonly based on 10 hours. Longer itineraries can be quoted with overtime or a longer service package. Always check the hours stated on your quotation.

What happens if we exceed the booked hours?

Overtime may be charged by the hour according to vehicle type and quotation conditions. If your itinerary is likely to run long, tell us the expected finish time before booking.

Reservation & Payment

Does receiving a quotation mean the vehicle is reserved?

No. A quotation explains price and conditions. The vehicle is reserved only after the required confirmation process, such as accepting the quotation and paying the required deposit.

How do I confirm a booking?

Reply that you wish to proceed, confirm the final itinerary and vehicle, and follow the deposit/payment instructions in the quotation. The reservation is finalized after the required confirmation is received.

How much deposit is required?

The deposit varies by booking. YourBus commonly uses a per-day/per-vehicle deposit or a percentage of the total price. The exact amount is stated in the quotation or invoice.

Can someone in Korea pay the deposit for me in KRW?

Yes. If a family member, colleague or partner in Korea pays on your behalf, tell us the sender's name and the booking name so the payment can be matched correctly.

Can I pay by PayPal or credit card?

International customers may be offered PayPal or card payment depending on the booking. Processing charges and VAT treatment can differ from KRW cash or local transfer, so check the payment line on the quotation.

Can I pay the remaining balance in KRW cash to the driver?

Some bookings allow the remaining balance to be paid to the driver in KRW cash. This must be agreed in advance and stated in the booking conditions.

What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellation charges increase as the service date approaches. YourBus uses a date-based cancellation schedule, so check the exact percentage in the quotation before paying the deposit.

Driver & Guide

Is the driver also a tour guide?

No. The driver is responsible for safe transportation and vehicle operation. A professional tour guide is a separate service for sightseeing explanations, itinerary coordination and tourism assistance.

Do you provide English-speaking drivers?

Some drivers can handle basic English communication, but driver language ability is not the same as professional guiding. If English interpretation or detailed explanations are important, request a licensed or professional guide.

Can I book a vehicle with a local English-speaking guide?

Yes, guide service can be quoted separately for selected days. This is common for multi-day groups that need a guide only on sightseeing days and driver-only transport on transfer days.

Multi-Day Charter

Can we hire one vehicle for a multi-day trip across Korea?

Yes. Multi-city routes such as Seoul, Andong, Gyeongju, Busan, Suncheon and Jeonju can be quoted. Provide the route and approximate operating hours for each day.

Can a single quotation cover airport transfers, city tours and intercity travel?

Yes. Complex itineraries can be quoted by day or by segment. Separating each day makes the inclusions, service hours and vehicle needs clearer.

Need a vehicle recommendation?

Send your passenger and luggage details. We can recommend a practical vehicle size before you confirm the booking.
